Kate McIntosh is an artist working in theatre, performance and video. From New Zealand and originally trained in dance, she has been performing internationally since 1995 – mostly in dance-theatre, including new works with Wendy Houstoun (UK), Meryl Tankard Australian Dance Theatre, Cie Michele Ann de Mey (Belgium), Random Scream (Belgium), and Simone Aughterlony (Switzerland).

Since 2000 Kate has been based in Brussels, where she directs her own work – in recent years this has included two solos ( All Natural, and Loose Promise) and one group performance ( Hair From the Throat ). She also directs short videos, which have played at festivals and exhibitions the world over.
Kate is a founding member of the Belgian performance collective and punkrock band Poni. And she has also been a guest exhibitor with the Icelandic visual arts collective Klink&Bank on several occasions.
Kate works with humour, curiosity and a strong belief in the individual on stage.
